As a small, ethically oriented, environmentally concerned independent business, we cannot offer free returns as the big companies like ASOS, Topshop, Topman, River Island, etc, etc, often do.
A shocking amount of fast fashion is bought and returned online, which is not good for the environment at all. The bigger companies absorb this postage and packaging and processing cost to keep you happy, and to keep their sales figures healthy. The problem with offering free returns is that it encourages people to buy things they might not even like, and frivolously send them back. We'd rather you buy Rhetorik only when you're very sure you want to wear Rhetorik. We want to promote slow, quality fashion that lasts, not just cheap garments that are bought for the sake of a new look.
Additionally, we run on much lower margins than the big fashion retailers. We provide affordable, ethically sourced, sustainable, trendy fashion, and that means we can't offer all the cheap frills the other retailers offer, such as free returns. We would rather offer you higher quality, more sustainable products at better prices.
For this reason, we do not offer free returns. You are welcome to return / exchange products as long as you're happy to cover the postage costs incurred in the return / exchange. To meet you half way, we'll deal with the admin, processing and packaging at no extra charge.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable).
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
* Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over £20, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
